2013 is here, and my resolution is to make this blog a bit more active. So, after a nice little Christmas vacation, here are the words the kids used to describe their last two weeks:
cool, enthusiastic, exciting, best, Santa-ish, funny, sarcastic, wonderful, extraordinary, awesome, grand, fun, pizzariffic, fantastic, dramatic, guinea-piggish, chaotic, cold, amazing, sensational, conventional, awkward, Disney-ish, crazy, supercalifragalisticexpealadoceous, okay, sweet!
The thesaurus came in handy :-)
Reminder that from now on homework will be given on Fridays and will be due on Thursdays. So look for your child's homework this Friday.
I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
Welcome to our classroom blog. Here you will find useful information, wonderful things to read, and the meaning of life.

Hello 4th Grade Parents,
I want to apologize for not utilizing this blog on a consistent basis. Life got a bit crazy for a while and I kind of put it on the back burner. When we come back from break, one of my goals is to blog like crazy. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season with family and friends.

Our day from a 4th grader's eyes:
Woah. Busy day:)"First thing we did today was music. We were getting ready for our concert on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The kids have to be ready in the band room by 6:20. Then, after that we came in from music and we did a new kind of math taht we just started. It is called elapsed time. After that we silent read for about 10 or 15 minutes. After that we studied spelling and got our new list, and then we wrote them one time each. After that we looked at the new theme page. Then we had lunch and recess. When recess was over it was the usual after lunch schedule, which is math, recess, and actually something new called Wheat Week. You learn about different kinds of wheat, soil, and water. Then we go home and the day is over!" -Gracie
